Pro Baseball Coming to League City, Texas
By Larry Hendrick | February 22, 2007
Great News! A press conference is called for noon, February 27th, 2007 for a special announcement about the Continental Baseball League and the City of League City.
This project was first announced last summer with League City being a finalist for a team. The original information I remember has 6-8 teams and an 80 game season running into the summer months. I’m sure the details will be on display next Tuesday.
This is an exciting announcement for baseball lovers, especially those that like to support the “barely” professional players (they don’t earn the big bucks) that play their heart’s out for the fans.
