A Beautiful Morning in San Leon, Texas
By Larry Hendrick | September 17, 2006
This morning I raised the blinds to watch the sun rise above the treetops, and I am amazed at the beauty of it all. Just to look out and see all the activity; the rustling leaves on the trees, the wandering dogs and the butterflies darting around, in what appears to be a hap-hazard way.
The blowing breeze is enough to cause the neighbor’s flag to stand at attention and display its colors and the Stars and Stripes. On occasion a slow moving vehicle will pass, but the quiet quickly returns and the butterfly again is the fastest moving object in my view.
This is what mornings are supposed to be about. The beauty of creation and and a great cup of coffee to enjoy it with. What a great day!

Colin, thanks for the comment. It just struck me as a fabulous “life moment” last weekend and was definitely a “life is good” morning.

What’s that you say Troy? You never call, you never visit. You could at least stop by every now and then.
Seriuosly, it is the time of year for the long fall and enjoying it all with a great cup of fresh-ground cup of coffee.

Sir, you are absolutely correct. I need to make a better effort.

of course, Florida is beautiful this time of year, I hear. I’ve never been there, but see it on TV regularly.
