Google Calendar’s Medication Reminder
By Larry Hendrick | July 27, 2006
Do you have trouble remembering to take your medicine once the prescription is filled. Never fear, Google’s here, calendar that is.
Once you have a Google Calendar account, log in and set up an additional calendar named Medications. Next set up repeating appointments for the times of day you are supposed to medicate and then the magic elixer. Set up the SMS to message your cell phone at the scheduled times. That’s it. Now you’ll never forget to take that pill when your supposed to.
I’ve done this with eye drops that I have to put in multiple times each day and was having a terrible time remembering to do it. Now I am notified by a reminder telling me to “put in your eye drops.” Setting up the calendar reminders solved my memory trouble, once and for all.

Thanks for the comment Cathy. It’s easy to do, and the Google calendar is free, so not a bad deal.
