Sun to vanish: Total eclipse early on March 29
By Larry Hendrick | March 27, 2006
The total eclipse won’t be seen in the US, but for the adventurous types, a trip to Brazil shouldn’t be out of the question. This is a good article and it covers the topic well, even pointing out the frequency of total eclipses happening every eighteen months, somewhere. Take a look and if you get to go, or live in the area, enjoy the show, and I expect lots of pictures on Flickr.

Amateur and professional astronomers from around the world will soon be congregating in parts of Brazil, Africa, and western Asia, to view a total eclipse of the sun that will take place on Wednesday, March 29. Without a question of doubt, a total eclipse of the sun is one of the most spectacular natural sights that one can witness.
