It took 4 hours of research, but I now have the answer to the RSS problem with the audio file. In the native install, MovableType will not support RSS 2.0 audio or video. Someone had written a plug-in to solve this, but in reading the site, there are a lot of “gotchas” to watch out for.
However, in moving to the new site, WordPress is built in to the interface and according to the WordPress website, it supports audio and video enclosures natively. No plug-ins or add-ons to solve the problem.
I will need to investigate further. More later…
