TestPodcast update 2

It took 4 hours of research, but I now have the answer to the RSS problem with the audio file. In the native install, MovableType will not support RSS 2.0 audio or video. Someone had written a plug-in to solve this, but in reading the site, there are a lot of “gotchas” to watch out [...]

The MP3 was uploaded and was referenced in the HTML code properly, but I am unable to get ipodder to recognize the file and download it. I will have to do some research on RSS feeds to see what is wrong.
They are never as easy as we would hope.

The First Test Podcast

Here it is! The very first test upload of a podcast. The conversion process was fairly painless and easy to do. I have recorded the wav file in Audacity and converted it to an MP3 file using the LAME converter.
The settings in Audacity are as follows: 44100Hz, Mono, 32bit floating

The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce 18th annual Business Expo was held Wednesday, May 18, 2005. What a great day…
