I just looked at the calendar and realized that it was not Monday any longer. It seems like Monday, it feels like Monday, it even sounds like Monday in some ways.

A typical day for a sales kind 'o' guy when things get in a hurry. A busy morning trying to get my physical therapy approved by the insurance company, followed by a hectic morning with the telephones and others at the office, and finally I was going to get a short break.

I had a lunch appointment with a business associate up in the University Area of Houston. A great restaurant that I do not get to eat at enough. I ran out of the office and jumped in the car and headed out and up the freeway. Now what was the first thing they taught you in sales school to do before heading off to an appointment...that's right, call and confirm if it has been more that a few hours since making the appointment. So I get to the restaurant and got seated and got my glass of water and waited...and waited...and waited... I decided to call and see where he was and low and behold, he had forgotten and was on his way to Beaumont.

Well, enough said about that. Just another day in the life...
