Ahhh, the 2nd birthday...what a fun time. It has been several weeks since the big 2 birthday party and I am just now getting time to post.

Of course, my granddaughter is the brightest, smartest, and most beautiful granddaughter there is (naturally) and she is a lot of fun too. This year was a much smaller affair than number 1 was. Instead of hundreds (that could be dozens) running around and all that goes with that, there were like 8 or 9 of us and most of us were not "running" anywhere. The grandparents, a couple of family friends and mom and dad were on hand for this celebration.

Cake ( she picked out strawberry) and ice cream (vanilla) and a bunch of present openings were in store for the lucky few attending. There was Thomas the Train Engine, puzzles, clothes and my personal favorite, Michael gave her a 2 dollar bill to keep. Great originality, Michael, I loved it and thought it was a superb bit of giving.

All in all, a great time and a lot of picture opportunities with the BIG GIRL.
