1/16/2005 09:24:28 PM|||Larry||| Today was in many ways a great day. I still miss my "sweetie", but we talk often. I was able to sleep late and wake up to a great pot of fresh ground Kona coffee. Hmmm! such a delight.

One goal today was to build a new web site for a new URL, www.SanLeon.Net, and get it published. I have never done this before, but decided it was a good goal. As I already owned a copy of FrontPage 2002, I decided I would start with this to see how it worked. I must say that putting together a website and publishing to the web could not be easier. I realize the issues with FrontPage and their "extensions", but this was homework. Selling web hosting and technology is OK, but This is an experience for me, to actually figure out how to design, layout, build, and post a new web site.

Next weekend, Mozilla Composer...it looks like an interesting alternative, but I will see. The advantage here is that the price is right on Composer. I would have started with this today, but FrontPage was handy and at this point, the price could be considered the same.

I have used Post Nuke at work to put a website together, but the SysAdmin put it all together and made the modifications for it to work and all I had to do was build and publish content. That was also pretty easy once all the "hard" work was done, by someone else.

Yep, a Super Sunday, quiet and with plenty accomplished. What a country...
