It is still a week before Christmas and it has become so quiet at work, I am wondering if the telephones are actually working. This is a typical December for us though. This is my fourth December here, but it is still hard to get used to. It seems that people have better things to worry about or spend their money on than servers and software.

Now, if it breaks, all bets are off, but the new stuff can wait until the new budgets start, January 1st. So until then, I have to get used to the quiet and, if possible, get caught up on some projects that have been shuffled to the back, bottom drawer.
