One of my fascinations is mind mapping. From the very first time I saw the process and discovered FreeMind, I have been a convert. However, today I learned more about mind mapping than in the last year.
I discovered that, in typical fashion, I have been using the mind map as the left brained person I am. Meaning, quick outlining, lateral brainstorming, and the like. Now I see the potential for the right brain to express itself through this medium
Brendon Connelly over at Slacker Manager posted this video, from Tony Buzan’s website, showing some of the features of mind mapping and some teases for his new iMindMap software program.
If you have an interest in this subject, you really should spend a little weekend time surfing the website.
This led me to Tony Buzan’s website where there is another video, and a lot of video tutorials using his new software product. Even though the videos are specifically about the new iMindMap software, there are applicable principles that can be gleaned to use with your online or offline mapping.
