Motivation on the Run

Even though this article pertains to Muncie, Indiana, the subject matter is worth the trip. The author, Mark Davisson, is writing about the local political scene, but the article is anything by political.

He shows us the process of developing a plan of action, rather than a plan of inaction, then describes his action plan for Muncie. It is not a long piece, but contains wisdom for us all.

I believe the source of Muncie’s woes can be found between our own ears rather than by pointing to Indianapolis or Washington or Beijing. As Zig Ziglar, the inspirational author and motivational speaker put it, I believe we need a “checkup from the neck up”, and that we suffer from “hardening of the attitudes”. Once the innards are fixed, I believe, the rest will take care of itself.
