This week on Motivation on the Run, a special Sales Meeting takes place. I delivered another twenty minute speech to my local Toastmaster group, and recorded it for this episode. Questions for Success is the title, and the assignment was to teach and inspire and according to the audience, the mission was accomplished.
I love speaking in front of the TLC Toastmasters, and this was no exception. Let me know what you think about the delivery, the subject and anything else beneficial. I appreciate your input and do this to get better. Now go enjoy this cast!

Isn’t public speaking a thrill? Interesting to have the technology to ‘remember’ what we said. Someone repeated this truth in the office yesterday: people don’t remember what you said, but how you made them feel. For that you did well, as always.
Because you ran short of time, I think you would agree that the goal-setting section could have been condensed or dropped. Of course that scrambles the whole premise of the presentation.
As an audio-only listener, it would have been helpful to restate the Questions acronym and current letter more often.
An interesting thought would be (maybe making a third presentation in a series) creating SMARTER goals to use QUESTIONS as a technique.

Great comments, Dave. Yeah, in hind sight, I wish I had not even brought up SMARTER, but I learned. Yes, I am going to work on this to see if I can tighten it up and make a ‘real’ presentation or two from SMARTER and QUESTIONS. And the third combination is a great idea. Can I steel it?
I also caught the lack of stating and repeating the letters and what they stand for, and I could have talked better through, and not after writing on the marker board. Powerpoint would help with this to a degree, but I’ll see.
