A short time ago, I spent time on communication and how important it is. Not talking, communicating. This article has several quick tips on accountability, but I think it also speaks volumes for the need to communicate.
If you are talking and the other person is hearing and understanding something other than what you are meaning, there is no communication. Check out the article, it’s short and to the point with the SIMPLE anagram.
