What a wild two weeks since the last podcast. There have been two major holidays in the US, Christmas and New Years and the Redhead and I have moved from the house by the bay to another house, one block off the bay.
New Years Resolutions: what are they and how can you accomplish them? That’s the topic of this week’s podcast.

10. Join an Improvement organization (Toastmasters, Gym)
11. Read more/watch less TV
What’s wrong with these as goals?
These are not goals, they’re wish list items
Whose resolution is it? Your’s or someone else’s?
Commitment is required.
New Years Resolution is just another name for goal
Must meet SMART
Specific
Measurable
Achievable
Realistic
Time Frame
1. Narrow the list down
2. Determine commitment level
3. Apply the SMART acronym
4. Write out the action steps
5. Start today because tomorrow never gets here.
