Motivation on the Run

The redhead and I are in San Marcus because of Hurricane Rita. I did mention on the last podcast that it could come our way and sure enough.

Galveston County put the entire county under volunteer evacuation on Tuesday with mandatory coming Wednesday at 6:00 pm for us and ending with League City at noon on Thursday. The staggered times are to help with the traffic as a few million people try to get out of the way of what could be a category 5 hurricane by the time it hits Friday evening or Saturday morning. It could real interesting especially since I left the Baycam up and running. As long as electricity and DSL holds up, we will have a great view of the bay and the storm.

Now we just pray that there is something left when we go back, while remembering it is just “stuff” and can be replaced. The pictures came with us in the car.
