Motivation on the Run

I have been researching how META tags work in helping a website become easier to find for those looking for information about motivation. It is an interesting read and something I would recommend anyone do that runs a website or blog. Here is a link to one I found that was helpful, SearchEngineWatch.com

It appears that some things still work and some do not when talking about meta tags. With the advent of Google and their page rank rating, it makes it harder to place a website at the top of the lists using meta tags, but I know people that are able to consistently get their pages high in the listings. Most will not share what they have learned, but there are companies that make money selling the service.

Would it be worth the cost of hiring a firm to raise you up in the rating? That depends on who you talk to. If you sell a product or sell advertising on your site, it could be the difference between a full time job and a hobby. You have to make that call, because, as they say, there are no guarantees.

One of the more interesting parts of what is said on the SearchEngine site, it the fact that a more important factor than meta keywords, are the words being in the text of the site, in this case, words like motivational, and business, and goal setting. INTERESTING…
