This week is a lot of fun because of things you can not see. There were birds everywhere this week and toward the end of the podcast, my voice volume steps up a notch because a ship had gone by and huge waves were crashing against the bulkhead and making a very loud noise. Without even thinking, I raised my voice to be able to hear myself.

All this confirms that I really do record this podcast in the outdoor studio, by the pier, on Galveston Bay, in San Leon, Texas and as I said in the podcast, we’re really cooking here! (you’ll have to listen to see what that means) Last week the seagulls made so much racket, it was all through the podcast, but was not unpleasant.

This week I mention other motivation podcasts and how this one compares. I talk about LifeBalance from llamagraphics and how it can help you keep that balance of the low level to dos and the big picture of your life goals. A great looking piece of software. Then I talked about a part of an article from Selling Power Magazine and about the quote “Nothing in American business today is as misunderstood as how to motivate employees” by Robert Salerno, CEO of Avis.
